Roland products, such as our current Capture Series USB Audio Interfaces, are known for their incredibly stable drivers.  All Roland products are designed to achieve peak performance – computer drivers simply are part of the package and perform just as well.

In case you haven’t heard, Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 was released earlier this month, while Apple’s OSX 10.9 Mavericks was released just a couple of days ago.  We are proud to inform you that our engineers were hard at work designing compatible drivers for a plethora of our products, newer and older, and they are now ready to go!

The Benefits of Roland Drivers

Some of Roland’s products will work with class compliant drivers – which are generic drivers provided by a computer’s operating system. Generic drivers are great for getting your instrument or interface communicating with your computer quickly.  Class compliant products are also required for connection to tablet computers, due to their inability to install drivers.

Roland’s drivers are optimized for use with the latest operating systems and make sure that your Roland product will perform to the best of it’s ability with your computer and software.  For example, Roland’s Capture-Series employ VS-Streaming technology.  VS-Streaming technology is an industry leading driver technology that offers super low latency and ability to use multiple Capture-Series products at once – without compromising performance, stability, or quality.  VS-Streaming drivers can support the use of two Roland OCTA-CAPTURES, or two STUDIO-CAPTURES at one time; or, an OCTA-CAPTURE/STUDIO-CAPTURE with a Roland VS-100 or VS-700.
